The Gooden Center is filled with sadness at the passing of Scot Sugimoto, longtime Gooden employee and friend. Through his career Scot counseled hundreds of men seeking respite from the horrors of addiction, and recently was promoted to position of Utilization Review. Over the last decade Scot has made him self known as a paragon of sobriety and a valued ear for any that are in need. He was seldom without a smile.
Scot was a man who was always present in crisis and eager to jump in the toughest of situations. His approachability and demeanor made him both an incredible employee and an even better friend. Over the years, there have been many changes at The Gooden Center. Scot has been a constant in his professionalism and his willingness to be of service. He’s a man with altruism in his heart and his passing is truly a loss for this mission.
He will be missed.
In lieu of flowers or other condolences, Scot’s family is asking that donations be made to The Gooden Center. Anyone that wishes to do so can click on the link below.
Thank you and be well.
