admission-financial-planAffordable Drug and Alcohol Treatment

We offer alcohol and drug treatment for men at very affordable costs. Self-pay clients find the costs to be among the most affordable treatment facilities in the country. While we do not have government contracts to provide treatment for free, there are scholarships available from time to time to cover the cost of drug rehab.

Following an assessment determining the individual’s suitability for the program, the Admission & Accounts Manager will assist the incoming client in making appropriate financial arrangements regarding payment for services. Once admission into the program is confirmed, comprehensive guidelines and instructions will be provided regarding all aspects of the program. Our drug and alcoholism treatment services are available to all adult males over 18 years of age without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or physical disability. We make every reasonable effort to accommodate clients with special needs such as those with special dietary requirements or certain psychiatric or medical diagnoses.

Insurance

We are contracted with most health insurance plans including Blue Cross rehab, United Behavioral Health, Cigna, rehab Aetna, Value Options and many others. We contact the health plan or managed care company to determine benefits for treatment. If approved, we will bill directly to the plan. Clients are responsible for payment of deductibles and co-insurance directly to The Gooden Center. If plan benefit payments are denied, the client is responsible for payment.

Self Pay

Self-paying clients sign a financial agreement and agree to make payment for the first 30 days of treatment prior to admission. Thereafter, the account must remain pre-paid. We are able to provide extremely affordable rates partly because of pre-payments by self-pay clients.

Scholarships

For some, financial hardship is severe enough to make treatment inaccessible for them. Additional financial assistance may be available from time to time for those who qualify. Inquire with the Admissions & Accounts Manager to determine if your hardship warrants an Underwrite-A-Recovery scholarship. Foundations, corporations, individual donors and alumni make grants and donations to the Gooden Center Underwrite-A-Recovery Scholarship program. They all want to see that as many people as possible receive the help they need and want. Scholarship clients must also keep their account prepaid and commit to extra hours of service in the house in which they live.
