John C. Cushman

The people of Pasadena and The Gooden Center are deeply saddened by the recent loss of our friend and supporter, John C. Cushman. He was a man of great ability and integrity who helped a lot of people and causes. Born in Oakland, California, he attended local schools and received a B.A. at Occidental College and a law degree at Boalt Hall (University of California, Berkeley). A prominent lawyer, he practiced law here for 50 years. John C. Cushman’s contributions to The Gooden Center spanned decades, as a member of our Board; for many years, as Chairman; and on various projects. Pasadena, The Gooden Center, and indeed, the world, is a better place because of John C. Cushman.
