Holiday Hope Tree
The Gooden Center is proud to present our inaugural “Holiday Hope Tree” for the enjoyment of our current and past residents, families, and friends. We will have a tree lighting ceremony December 8, 2014, at 6:00pm at the Bishop Gooden Home, located at 191 N. El Molino, Pasadena, Ca. 91101. The tree will be wondrous, decorated with personalized ornaments filled with pictures/keepsakes/messages of love and hope.
The cost of an ornament is $50, and may be filled with anything you like, with proceeds going to the Gooden Center scholarship fund. After the holidays, your ornament will happily be returned for use for holidays to come.
The tree lighting ceremony will include refreshments, candle light moment of silence, and grand lighting.
We hope that you and your family will sponsor an ornament in memory of, in hope for, or in support of a loved one this season and support the Gooden Center, showing men the way home since 1962.
After purchasing an ornament, contact Brandon Brewer firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate personalizing. Some folks have put pictures, hand written notes, or other keepsakes such as sobriety chips and poems.
