Electronic Health Records Come to the Gooden Center
The Gooden Center is making a huge step! By the end of 2013, all clinical records will be transitioned from paper to electronic. Thanks to the generosity of the Rose Hills Foundation and the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation, time spent completing client records will be greatly reduced, freeing the counselors to spend more time with the clients. Appropriate transfer of information from one professional to another will be quicker and less expensive. Interaction with other agencies such as insurers will increase accuracy of data.
Outpatient Program, Family Program and Administrative Offices Expand to New Location
The Gooden Center is growing! Available meeting space had become a challenge; growth in family treatment opportunities was limited only by the room to meet. A perfect solution was nearby. The Outpatient Program, Family Program and Administrative Offices are now located within walking distance – three blocks – from the Bishop Gooden Home at 54 North Oakland – the corner of Oakland and Union. We welcome you to come by for a visit!
