Joe Burke, C.A.D.C. II
Joe Burke has been working as a drug and alcohol counselor since 1992. His extensive experience and passion for helping clients connect to their spiritual side makes Joe a perfect fit in his current position as Spiritual Care Counselor. In addition, he regularly leads our clients on hikes in the San Gabriel Mountains.
Terry Dunbar, C.A.D.C.A.
Terry Dunbar began his counselor internship at The Gooden Center and never left. Terry has received his Associate Counselor certification and is in the process of pursuing his full certification by California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors.
Victor Gwinn, C.A.D.C.II
Victor Gwinn serves as Primary Counselor for residential treatment. He completed his training in alcohol and drug studies at InterCoast College and has been a counselor since 2008. When not working, Victor enjoys golfing, fishing, and rock collecting. He's been known to put together a mean recipe of chili sauce, too.
Ivan Yoshida, C.A.T.C.
Ivan Yoshida joined the staff of The Gooden Center in 2009. He is a graduate of the Glendale Community College Alcohol/Drug Studies program. He is certified by the California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators. Ivan serves as a Counselor for the Intensive Outpatient program.
Gerry Zabala C.A.T.C.
Gerry Zabala is a graduate of the East Los Angeles College chemical dependency program and is a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor. He is a Sober Living Case manager at The Gooden Center. He is certified as a Recovery Specialist and is also a federally certified Breath Alcohol Technician.
