One of the first people you are likely to speak to at The Gooden Center is Jose Mendoza. In 2005, Jose joined The Gooden Center as a counselor. Today, he manages our Admissions Department and, together with his staff, helps welcome and comfort individuals and families in their most difficult time. His experience in the field of addiction and his clinical background can help each person determine the best The Gooden Center has to offer toward the road to recovery.

Jose earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and completed his training in alcohol and drug studies at InterCoast College. He is certified by the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors and also performs private interventions for families in need.
