2nd Annual Gooden Center Friends and Alumni Golf Tournament
FOOOORRREE! echoed from every corner of the Koiner Course #1 of Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena on August 21st as participants teed off for the 2nd Annual Gooden Center Friends and Alumni Golf Tournament. It was a fun day as alumni volunteer golf cart drivers dodged (except for one!) errant balls, ducked and hid from wayward shots behind trees at the $10K Hole-in-One, and oooh’d and aaah’d as they admired wonderful ones.
The banter, laughter and fellowship as alumni and friends played their way through 18 holes culminated with the presentation of awards and a Texas BBQ dinner in the Breezeway Room.
The Gooden Center was so blessed by the participation, commitment and generosity from the TGC organization’s staff, board members, alumni, friends and donors who contributed their time, money and tireless effort to make this event successful. The tournament was able to raise $2000 that will go towards The Gooden Center Scholarship Fund. The funds will enable TGC to provide help for men who face financial challenges as they seek treatment.
